This four-day writing workshop will be held in small groups of no more than five students so that each student gets personal attention regarding their writing needs.

• Reviewing examples of top essays to familiarize you with winning essay formats
• Discussing the Common App and Coalition App essay prompts
• Brainstorming ideas regarding WHAT to write about
• Writing a first draft of the essay with on-the-spot feedback from Ms. Frey
• One hour private session (online) with Ms. Frey to edit each student’s final draft

Classes will be held in person in Nutley, NJ, on the following dates and times:

3:00 – 4:30 p.m.

• August 4, 5, 6, 7

• August 18, 19, 20, 21

5:30-7:00 p.m.

Cost $399 per student: Half is due at sign up. The remaining half is due on the first day of class.

EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT: $25 off the fee if you book one month prior to the starting date of your choice. 

Note: This fee includes a one hour private online session after the bootcamp to polish the final draft; this will take place at a mutually convenient time and must be completed by 10/31/25.
